The Capital Pride Youth Committee (“CPYC”) is currently looking for engaged youth, between the ages of 15 and 25 to join its team.

The purpose of the CPYC will be to provide insight, advice and guidance for the development and implementation of Board policies and decisions specifically affecting 2SLGBTQ+ youth. Further, the CPYC may also counsel the Operations Lead and the Youth Coordinator in their event planning process and implementation to better serve the community.

This opportunity will provide you a space to develop your ideas and the platform to support Capital Pride achieve their mission of Advocacy, Education, Celebration and Connection. This opportunity will allow you to acquire relevant skills while also providing you with meaningful engagement within your community.

This is a volunteer position.


  1. Be at least 15 years old and at most 25 years old; and
  2. Live in the National Capital Region (Ottawa-Gatineau).
