Andrew Giguère

Andrew Giguère is a passionate, engaged advocate for the arts and culture, who works as a professional arts administrator, previously working with organizations like the Ottawa Art Gallery, National Arts Centre, Ottawa Arts Council, and National Gallery of Canada. Capital Pride, to Andrew, represents an important space for queer artists to share their voices with queer audiences, and endeavors to continue working to provide space for those artists with venues and stages. An avid volunteer, Andrew has donated his time to organizations across the region, like Jeunsesse Idem (a queer health organization), IFCO, and the OAG, and looks forward to supporting the Festival as well in 2018.

Andrew was honoured to receive an Award for his community engagement in the Hull-Aylmer riding from the MP Greg Fergus.
