Ottawa – With the 2018 Capital Pride Festival approaching its final day, members of the media are invited to attend the 2018 Pride Parade.

The event will include over 150 groups, including community groups, sports teams, embassies, local businesses, and many other groups. There will be a large marching procession, including floats, vehicles, live music, and more.

Time: 1:30 PM

Where: Starts at Bank and Gladstone, heads north on Kent before returning to Bank via Laurier, ending at Bank and Somerset.

Capital Pride spokespeople and other parade participants will be available before the parade, at 12:45 pm at Bank and Gladstone. 

The 2018 Capital Pride Festival takes place August 19-26, 2018 and includes two days of mainstage programming with rock icon Bif Naked and pop iconoclast Brooke Candy, an expanded street festival, 15 signature events, over 75 community events, and a parade of over 150 groups.
